Casa LuCa is approximately 1.5 km above the village of Benamargosa, in southern Spain, in the Axarquia, about 12 km from Velez -Malaga inland of the Costa del Sol, an hour’s drive north-east of Malaga. The village Benamargosa is located on the banks of the river which has influenced the landscape of the area. With its extensive avocado, mango and lemon plantations the evergreen valley looks like an oasis in the hot summer months. On arrival, the visitor gets the direct impression of having reached a huge and well- kept terraced garden. The plantation terraces climb the surrounding hillsides up to an altitude of about 500 m.
On your arrival in Benamargosa we will meet you in the village and accompany you to the house. Casa LuCa is reached in 5 minutes by car via a mainly concreted but partly steep track or in about 10 minutes via a longer track. On the short drive the visitor already gets a first impression of the stunning beauty of the valley and the surrounding hills lined with mango and avocado plantations, olive groves and the scattered country houses.
You can also reach Casa-LuCa on foot in about 20 minutes time.
There is ample parking directly above the house. A sandy path leads to the front door.
